Orlando theme parks range from the Silver Springs 350 acre nature theme park to Walt Disney World, the most visited and largest recreational resort in the world.
Silver Springs offers wildlife education, field trips, animal presentations, guided and self-guided tours, and hands on presentations with native and exotic animal species. Attractions at Silver Springs include glass bottom boats, a jungle cruise, lost river voyage, Jeep safari, bear exhibit, big gator lagoon, alligator and crocodile encounter, and more. This theme park is located just north of Orlando.
Islands of Adventure theme park features five uniquely themed islands. Put together by Steven Spielberg, this park is a world class facility. Dare you proceed to The Lost Continent or Jurassic Park? Maybe you can handle riding the Incredible Hulk coaster where you go weightless in a zero-G roll. The coaster's biggest drop is 105 feet and has speeds of over 60 mph.

A favorite Orlando family attraction is Fun Spot Action Park featuring 4 tracks, thrill rides, a 10,000 square foot arcade, and Kid spot. Gatorland, located only 15-20 minutes from Walt Disney world has 10 acres of natural habitat popuated with 100 female and 25 male alligators. Gatorland also has massive snakes and the Gator Jumparoo Show in which some of the world's largest alligators jump 4 to 5 feet out of the water to retrieve food.
Among some of the more gentle attractions is Harry P. Leu Gardens which has the largest formal rose garden in Florida and America's largeset Camellia collection aside from California.

The Amway Arena, known across the globe as a first-class live sports and entertainment facility, serves as home to the NBA's Orlando Magic, the AFL's Orlando Predators and various world class sporting and entertainment events. The Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre, a fully functional theatre/concert hall, features continental style seating for 2518. It's excellent acoustics and sound capabilities make it ideal for concerts, Broadway presentations, the Symphony, Ballet and Opera as well as a business conference or general session. The Florida Citrus Bowl is the home of the annual New Year's Day football classic, The Capital One Bowl. and Jones High School football teams.
